MAA Artist's Work

Camille Boyers, MAA Member since 1997
2008-2012 MAA TE Work: "Evening Thunderheads", 5.7 x 7 centimeters, 2¼ x 2¾ inches
Medium: Acrylic

Biography: Camille C. Boyers appreciates nature's beauty and its portrayal through art. She hopes her capacity to observe then draw and paint what she perceives leads others to share the same love of nature and beauty.

Camille's ability to use design and fine detail has won her many awards, especially in the miniature art field. She uses dynamic line, informal balance, dramatic light and rhythmic patterns to enhance her realism and her abstract art. Pencil, charcoal, colored pencil and acrylics are her media of choice.

Currently residing in Missouri, Camille's formative years were in Michigan. In between she lived in Dunedin, Florida where she discovered miniature art which she feels had a significant impact on her as an artist. In Missouri she is a member of the New Visions Art League and the Art league of the Ozarks.
