Jeanette Mullane, MAA Member since 2001

Biography: Jeanette Mullane was born in Chicago and educated at the American Academy of Art and also received a B.S. in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Specializing in watercolor, Jeanette has participated in numerous shows in recent years, such as the Irving Shapiro Memorial National Watercolor Competitions at the Palette & Chisel in Chicago, Watercolor Society of Oregon juried shows, Portland Audubon Society Wild Arts Festivals, and group shows at the Antoinette Hatfield Gallery and the Lawrence Gallery.

Jeanette began painting miniatures as a sideline in 1990, and since then has exhibited and won numerous awards in the U.S. and abroad in venues such as the Royal Albert Museum in England, the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts in Florida and the Arts Club in Washington, D.C. In 2000, when Cider Painters of America implemented Signature status, she was one of the initial five recipients of this honor. In 2001 she was awarded Signature Membership in Miniature Artists of America.
