Biography: Katherine Orwoll Friday has worked as a layout artist, illustrator, designer, industrial designer and art director for art studio & advertising agencies Minneapolis, MN, Wichita, KS, Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, Seattle & Bellevue, WA, Portland, OR. She was proprietor of her own art business Skyline Studio in Minnesota, MN A'la Advertising /Art in Bellevue, WA.
In 1982 she was awarded Signature Membership in Miniature Artist of America. Her miniatures have been exhibited in the Signature Membership Traveling Exhibit. She had miniatures in the 1st Federation Exhibit London, England. The 2nd World Federation Hobart Tasmania & she had five paintings included in the 3rd World Federation Exhibit Smithsonian.
Katherine has a miniature painting in Jane Blake's Birthday Book. Her biography has been included in Marques Who's Who in America for the past 10 years. She received both a gold and a silver awards from the Grumbacher Company.
